Which Image format and resolution best for website design?

Nowadays most of the websites is not performing well, its one of the main reason images. Images are most important for websites and blogs, images will be more interactive to the users, all web designer make the stunning and creative banner images for all websites. Also, most of the website designed with image sliders, this is the best way to represent their products and services to the customers. While creating the banner images we must optimize the images with the best image resolution format. which format images best for website design?

Choose the Best image format for websites

Typically, all the website banners and designed with GIF, JPG, and PNG, but most of the designer choosing JPG format with 72 dpi. Because of its compressed and provide the good resolution for the websites and make the faster loading of the website. For any image, animation designer must use the GIF file format and PNG is used for high clarity photos, especially bloggers can use the PNG format for mobile review pictures.

 

SVG is another one image format, this is vector graphic if use this format on the website it will not be pixelated while zooming the browsers. Also, this image size is very less compare with any other formats. But when we design the banners we have to create the design with CorelDraw or illustrator, we cannot use any photos to create the SVG banners.

 

Moreover, JPG is the best image file format for any kind of the image design for the websites. If you make any kind of design with Photoshop you must save the file with “Save for Web & Devices” option to optimize the images.
